Nola Tran Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Nola Tran! Nola is one of fifteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2022. Her award was for $5,000.
Nola says, "Currently I am pursuing pediatric oncology, although I am keeping an open mind about many great specialties. I am passionate about making healthcare more accessible to those who need it most.
The GLSHF scholarship will help relieve some of the financial burden of my first year and allow me to continue to pursue this path as a first-generation student pursuing higher education."
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
