Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation Announces Scholarship Awardees for 2022
Lee’s Summit, MO – The Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation (GLSHF) has announced the winners of the 2022 GLSHF Scholarships to support academic studies leading to a health-focused career in a medical or healthcare discipline.
“The Foundation is proud to award a total of $80,000 this year to sixteen students,” said Patrick Kueny, GLSHF Chair “The dedication of these students is supported by Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation’s commitment to advance the number and quality of healthcare professionals in the local community.”

Since 2003, GLSHF has awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships or grants to students or local nonprofit organizations focused on making a positive impact on good health.
NEXT GLSHF SCHOLARHIP CYCLE: GLSHF Scholarship applications may be submitted from January 1 through March 1 annually. GLSHF awards multiple scholarships in support of academic studies leading to a career in a medical or healthcare discipline. Applications are available online at www.healthyleessummit.org
NEXT GLSHF GRANT CYCLE: GLSHF grants are awarded annually to local charities with health and wellness projects and programs. New grant requests may be submitted September 1 through October 31 annually. Awards are announced in February. Priority is given to those proposals most consistent with the GLSHF mission and with the widest potential benefit to the community. This may include projects in the areas of research, education, public training programs, programs in schools, clinics for indigent care, equipment, and services.
