Michaela Lopez Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Michaela Lopez! Michaela is one of fifteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2022. Her award was for $5,000.
Michaela says, "I aspire to be a physician and plan to practice in the Lee’s Summit area as well as to serve in Latin America on medical mission trips. My goal is to bring access to quality care to every person I serve.
I really appreciate this generous GLSHF scholarship as it will help me in achieving my dream of graduating from Medical school and serving underrepresented and underserved populations in our community and globally."
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
