Adam Howe Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Adam Howe! Adam is one of thirteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2019. His award was for $5,000.
Adam says, "I will be entering my first year at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry this fall and am extremely honored to be a recipient of the Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation scholarship. I have lived in Lee’s Summit my entire life and plan on practicing in the community upon graduation from dental school. I am excited in the coming years to provide care to the individuals in the community that have been there for me my entire life. Receiving this scholarship helps provide significant support in pursuing my professional aspirations. I am looking forward to continuing my education and beginning my professional career and cannot thank the GLSHF committee enough for providing support for my journey."
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
