Lisa Morris Awarded GLSHF Scholarship

Congratulations, Lisa!

Lisa Morris is one of eleven scholars, who is a recipient of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation. Lisa's award was for $5,000.

Lisa says: "As I enter my second year of medical school at the University of Missouri, I am proud to do so representing my hometown of Lee's Summit through the GLSHF Scholarship. Through this scholarship, GLSHF helped me to gain a global perspective into healthcare systems and education, and I look forward to continuing this interest throughout my medical education. I strive to someday use these experiences to provide the best care to all patients in my community, eventually returning to the Lee's Summit area to serve patients in the town I call home."
