Jessica Solis Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations to Jessica Solis!
The Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation is celebrating the 2017 scholarship awards given to 11 local health-focused students, who included Jessica Solis, the recipient of a $5000 award.
Jessica says, "The scholarship money I received will help pay for my senior year of my BSN at Saint Luke's College of Nursing. It's aiding me in graduating nursing school almost debt free! This money helps me complete my schooling to begin my career as an ICU or ER nurse. My long-term goal is to become a flight nurse and serve on a team of first-responders."
Since 2004, GLSHF has granted more than $1.2 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
