Kyle Rampetsreiter Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Kyle Rampetsreiter! Kyle is one of thirteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2019. His award was for $5,000.
Kyle says, "I’m honored to be selected for this generous award and can’t thank the GLSHF for supporting my dreams of becoming a physician! This fall I will be attending the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. My previous work in regenerative medicine and burn care research has piqued my interest in addressing chronic medical issues and devising new approaches for treating patients. I want to continue working in this department both as a surgeon and researcher to improve the way we treat burn patients. Thank you for investing in my education and allowing me to continue making contributions toward the field of medicine!"
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
