Jim Massey Awarded Scholarship
Congratulations, Jim Massey!
Massey is a recipient of one of the 11 local health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation. His award was for $3,000.
Jim says: "First of all I want to begin by thanking each and every person that decided to choose my name for the scholarship as this money will help tremendously for me to move forward within my RN to BSN classes. This money pays for a total of six classes within the 17 class BSN program, so this definitely helps me pay toward the other 11 classes that I still have left. Once this schooling is done then I will be looking at either PA schooling or moving forward in a job doing medical equipment sales which does require a BSN or a bachelor's degree in business. You have no idea how thankful I am for this opportunity to be able to use this $3,000 toward my schooling so that it is that much less of a burden for me to have to come up with that money. Your group is an absolute treasure and I will never forget this."
